Along with certain other countries in Europe, in Russia the long-held tradition of painting Easter eggs has been maintained. Egg-painting styles can range from the most simply decoraited wooden eggs to the famed precious masterpieces of the Fabergé workshop. I paint onto wooden eggs, images inspired by the middleage miniatures. My friends appreciate receiving these tiny works at easter-time and I truly enjoy giving them.
